Tomorrow is Christmas! I hope you all wrote letters to Santa and you're going to leave a plate/tray/holding-thingy full of cookies and a glass of milk for him :3
So... what will I be doing? Tomorrow I'll just sit back and read, open presents, and/or watch some Christmas t.v. specials. I might go for a walk if I can (Too bad it does'nt snow here :()
I wish everyone here at the Tales Brigade a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Endless Nocturne
Dec 10, 2008
"Thank you for Composing on Endless Nocturne!
Thank you so much, composers, for coming along on the journey at Endless Nocturne. I hope that all of you will keep in touch and continue to discuss your passion for Eternal Sonata at the official Namco Bandai Games Forum. There you will be able to keep up-to-date with future announcements and find out what lies ahead.
We've had some good times with all our discussions and Opus submissions and even had some tense moments when deciding the winners of contests and voting for the community MVP. I know that I've also laughed many times at some of the hilarious Opus submissions, like Fugue dressed up as the Monopoly guy; that one still makes me laugh.
Our moderators were also very helpful in keeping our forum top notch so be sure you thank them for not having to look at a bunch of posts saying, "you're cute, check out my profile *wink ;)"
While Endless Nocturne might fade away, its spirit will clearly live on. One of our members, Shexylle Stradivari, said it best, "I'll continue this journey, and everyone who's staying here will continue it as well."
Never stop dreaming.
Your Friend,
~Chopin
PS: If you have any questions about receiving prizes or Endless Nocturne in general, just send me an email. All prizes will be shipped within the next 2 weeks :) "
I joined Endless Nocturne around the time it reopened. My username was VinheimMithos and I usually read the forums or submit some Opus stuff. My best work would be my Opus 13: Eternal Sonata Commercial submission.

Quest 28: Thankful for the Tales World
Nov 27, 2008
Inspired by LegacyGamer, This new quest gives us an opportunity to share what we are most thankful for about the Talesbrigade. The question is below:
"What are you most thankful for when it comes to the Tales Series and Tales Brigade?"
Well... What I'm most thankful for is meeting the nice members here at the Tales Brigade and having something to do (Quests or reading the forums) when I'm bored. I'm glad that this site will last until February 04, 2009 since it could have been closed earlier (Though I would love to have this site open forever if I could :3)
I'm also happy/thankful to win a copy of Tales of Vesperia from the ToV Giveaway event and buying a Tokunaga Plush Set using my hard-earned glad.
And I want to give two thumbs up for Undine for working so hard on keeping the Tales Brigade website in check. I think we all appreciate what you've done for us.
With much <3 -ChosenPenguinist

New High-ougi Quest (Zelos)
Nov 18, 2008

Remember the quest that involves submitting new High-ougi's for Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World? Well, I only got one (Involving Genis Sage) in before the quest ended ._.
^ That is my other, second submission (Which I would have submitted if I was a minuet early in writing the description)
Description: With one slash, Zelos's new High-ougi would turn his enemies to nothing. When the sword/dagger hits those with an unpure heart, a Raven/ Black Phoenix/Dragon/whatever appears above the target and then the enemy vanishes off the battlefield (If successful). If not successful, It would damage both Zelos and the enemy (It's a double-edge technique).
And yes, I did hit my head on the desk out of fustration. I only saw the "You have one more entry left" 20 minuets before the quest ended and I panicked. I drew the second/third best character I could with a generic enemy and came up with a new technique description, albit late.

Quest 18: Tales of Yummy Aromas
Nov 14, 2008
My Submission that I just wanted to share. I'll add a picture later :3
Quote:
Two of Tales of Symphonia's chefs, Genis Sage and Regal Bryant, came together to share their secret technique in making a meal just for the Tales Brigade and the Tales characters. Everybody has a choice in either Curry or the Spaghetti, both excellent in presentation and in flavor. Below is how to make/prepare the Curry :3
How to Make: Curry
Start by gathering...
2 Medium Potatos
1 Onion
1 Curry Powder/Block (Will post "Make your Own Curry" on my blog later)
Water, Oil (Olive Oil recomended), Rice
1 Small Red Chile Pepper (Optional)Set the stove on Medium-High heat. Place a pot with some Olive oil on the bottom. Peel and Cut the onion and potatos (Into quarter cubes/small cubes) and place in the pot. Stir until the oil has been absorbed by the potato-onions (About 4-5 minuets depending on the heat) and then fill the pot with a cup or two of water and the block of curry. Continue to stir until the curry block/powder has dissolved. Lower the heat and leave the curry to set (About 2-3 minuets). Serve with rice and a garnish of small red hot chile pepper strips.

First day of November!
Nov 1, 2008
Yup... Today is the first day of November. Nothing changed much though (The leaves fail to change colors :3)
So there's a new mission avaliable and it involves drawing/creating a ribbon (Has to be Dawn of the New World Related since it's for the release). I'll probably be late in entering this one since I have no clue which ribbon style/characters to chose. I know there're alot of talented people here in the Tales Brigade so I hope one of them makes a nice and spirited ribbon.
Well... That's all I have to say for now. -CPeng.

Sonic Unleashed!
Sep 19, 2008
I am awaiting the release of Sonic Unleashed. The game brings a new twist to the Sonic saga.
The plot? Dr.Eggman has built a Chaos Laser, a device harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds and plans on firing it into the planet to unleash a slumbering beast in the depths. Sonic arrives to stop Eggman but is caught and imprisioned on the ship. Eggman is able to fire the laser and the beast awakens, splitting the planet into seven pieces.
The gameplay is simple; In the day, Sonic goes and collect the golden rings. What's great about the game is that the player is able to have the freedom of choosing what path to take when exploring the map. As such, Speed is important in all Sonic games and I must add that the developer team has done a great job fixing what the recent previous games lacked.
At night, the gameplay takes a drastic turn. Sonic turns into a Werehog, a side-effect from being in close proximity when the Chaos laser fired. The gameplay changes to being puzzle/RPG-oriented. I find this news to be refreshing and a new challange for Sonic Fans.
Some argue that adding the Werehog feature ruins what the Sonic saga has been, however, the developers had stated that the game will be geared for both veterans and new players.
The graphics are amazing, utilizing a new engine to provide Sonic a beautiful enviorment and to keep the trademark Speed factor. I really want this game :3
Until the release, all I can do is wait and wonder if it will be successful or another flop. The offical website has a couple trailers (A trailer, a promotional video, and two stage clips).
