Oh hi...it's another uh...blog. Well I probably won't be putting too much real-life happenings in here...unless I don't feel like putting it in my 5 or so other blogs (ok....that might be a slight exaggeration...slight) *AHEM* ...anyhow.....Yoroshiku~ne~ ^.^

• This is surely going to be an eventful year...

  It's already 2 days into the new year and I've already had two rather interesting..."experiences" already...one on each day

  
  EVENT #1: (Happened on January 1, 2009)

  (So I kinda posted/mentioned this in the forums already...but...)

  On New Years day....we went to a buffet for breakfast cuz I had a coupon that went like 1 Adult breakfast for $5.99 OR a Free Children's breakfast with purchase of a regular Adult breakfast

  ((Children is considered 11 and under at this restaurant...FYI))

  And guess what? I was charged as a child....meaning....I ate for free....

  I know I'm really short but....being mistaken as an 11 year old when my actual age is closer to twice of that? ahahaha...............that's kind of....SAD

  Event #2: (Happened on January 2, 2009)

  I went to the Doctor today for like....a regular check up right? And I had to draw blood for it....

  So now....normally....when you go to draw blood they're supposed to put something on your upper arm to like "tighten" it....I guess this helps them find the blood vein easier or something...like they're clogging the amount of blood in your arm up....

  But then like afterwards when they stick the needle in they're supposed to loosen it so that blood rushes into the arm again and drawing the blood theoretically is faster right?

  WELL.....My Doctor....for some reason or another...forgot to loosen the thing on my upper arm after sticking the needle in....so it basically turned into:
  1) Doctor drawing blood from my arm ...leads to....
  2) Blood from the rest of my body isn't going into arm...leads to...
  3) An arm that was quickly loosing all feeling cuz of the lack of blood ...leads to...
  4) Large Rush of blood flowing into my arm after drawing blood finally finished...leads to...
  5) Blood rush was too overwhelming and I started to feel light-headed

  And so ....afterwards I felt like passing out and I would've if I hadn't lied down after

  but AHAHAHAH!!!!!......I kind of find the whole thing funny cuz now I know what it feels like right before passing out xD

  ================

  But dang right? I wonder what's in store for me tomorrow....

  Maybe I should stay home for the next few days so these kind of events stop...xD;;;

• New Years Resolution (Quest 33)

  I'm not really good at keeping with New Years Resolutions....but I guess for the upcoming year I have two...

  One is to work on losing more weight (this is pretty much an "ongoing resolution" ever since I was a kid--as I've been "overweight" as long as I remember)

  And I guess the second would be to put some more effort into my future (aka finding a decent job).

  Oh wait...I'll add one more "New Years Resolution" to the list...follow through with finishing video games more xD yep....I'm pretty bad at finishing video games...hahaha.

  Well I ain't expecting much to happen today nor am I planning to do anything besides playing video games (I haven't played since the 23rd.
  soo desperate....Need to play......really....badly........
  Hey! Maybe that was a strategic move on my part!)

  Though I keep looking forward to checking the mailbox everyday....dunno why xD;

• random Collection pics

  When I was looking for a USB drive that I could use to move my fanart drawings to the other computer...(to sum it up...my laptop is the only "computer" in the whole house that can use the scanner...but this computer is the only one in the whole house that has Photoshop on it)

  I stumbled across a USB drive that had a copy of all my quest entries from AltimitCorp AND KonamiStars....including the "take picture of your collection" quest.....

  and then it started to bug me that.....my "Suikoden collection" pic was outdated (I mean..it HAS been over a year since KonamiStars closed after all)

  ...so out of boredom...I sidetracked and tried to re-gather all my Suikoden stuff to re-take the pic.....however I didn't want to make a mess of the house again (LOLz I'm serious...I trashed the house so badly the first time I took the pic) so I just took a pic of stuff that I missed in the first pic.

  And now...I'm posting it here/sharing them with you all out of boredom...

  First of all...I have a ton more of those packs of cards (seen in the left half of the pic near the bottom...they're sitting on top of that Suikogaiden art book)....

  Secondly...I do have the Suikoden 4 promo scroll poster(along with all the other promo Suiko4 items that they gave out for that treasure hunt contest they had)...it's in the background of the right half picture...kind of hard to see...but I didn't want to take another pic of just the scroll poster

  Third...about those 7 sealed Suikoden figures in the right half........I actually have several more of those figures that I got from one-coin boxes.

  You know...these boxes: 

  

  Enough to have a whole 'nother complete set (if it was a perfect world, In actuality...I ended up with alot of duplicates of Tir and Riou though .-. ) .....So...hence the sealed-7 in the pic have stayed sealed. 

  Lastly...That small book in the right half that's giving an awful glare...That's the Chinese guidebook for Suikoden 5

  Anyhow...NEXT....my "updated" (or rather an add-on) to my Suiko collection pic:

  ...I could've bought 3 each of the Kyle and Georg keychain things but there was only 2 Hero5 left in the store and I kinda felt weird if I had 3 Georg and 3 Kyles but only 2 Hero5s...so...2 EACH OF ALL THREE! LOL

  Oh...and the two things in the middle...the Riou and Jowy...they're straps (what kind of straps?...I dunno...they're kinda big for phone straps though...maybe bag straps?)

  Oh and that tiny small thing on the left side of the pic...with the lone image of Jowy.....It's a kind of picture frame (A pretty cheap one though...made of paper...the metallic picture frame I have in the original pic--which is what I stuck my KonamiStars username on-- is wayyyyyyyy better)

  lastly...the Suiko5 limited edition artwork Cell that my friend got me for my birthday last year 

  

  It's like...super-taped onto the wall...so I didn't want to take it down/move it LOL

  Woooooooooot~ so ah...I think that's it....I probably missed taking pics of a few small things again (like the two cards included with the Card Stories game) but oh well...Ask me if you wanna know what some of the stuff is and/or you can't tell what it is...

  ~~And maybe next time...if people are curious/want to see...I'll post my .hack collection pics........although I'll definitely have to retake ALL of it...

• Fanart suggestions please?

  I wasn't going to post this here originally but here I am posting it...

  Anyhow, here's the thing...I'm planning to do a series of fanart drawings to upload onto my deviantart account as...eh...I guess an xmas special kind of thing (cuz I normally don't draw fanart) and I'm asking around for any fanart suggestions?

  I don't know how many I'll be able to do...especially since I'm hoping to FULLY color EVERYONE of these (I don't normally color either) ..but I hope to do as many as I can crank out before XMAS day...and then upload them all at once onto my Deviantart before my birthd-------ERRRR....I mean...before the year is over. Hopefully......if all goes well....

  Please help me by suggesting some fanart I could do! (And...no, it doesn't have to be 'Tales of' related...In fact I ENCOURAGE non-"Tales of" suggestions)

• mm...Anime (stuff I'm supposed to be currently watching)

  Random blog entry for the day~

  For today's randomness...I'll be listing/commenting a little bit on anime shows I'm SUPPOSED to be watching currently big emphasis on the "SUPPOSED" --(Bunch of these I randomly kind of stopped watching for some strange reason or other...but not dropped...just stopped temporarily)

  btw...I don't think I put any anime plot spoilers in here...so if you're...I dunno looking for anime to check out (why here I dunno?) read on with no fear of spoiler.

  Clannad~After Story -- I ruined myself by watching the movie first so I don't feel like watching the second season now......Apparently the anime timeline is supposed to be 1)Clannad 2)Clannad~After Story 3)Clannad movie ....however no one told me so I watched the movie right after 1st season Dx

  Hakushaku to Yousei -- Also known as "Earl and Fairy" Heavily Shojo series -heck just check out the End sequence; half-naked Bishounen. LMAO. It's cute (the plot I mean...I wasn't talking about the ED you dirty-minded person LOL). It's probably the show that I look forward to the most every week.

  Junjou Romantica 2 -- Shounen-ai anime. Surprising that I'm watching this cuz I normally stay clear of stuff in this and related genres...and here I am watching an ANIME of that genre...if you ignore all the sexual scenes  (which luckily aren't too graphic or anything like that) though, the plot is REALLY funny and cute. Just....don't start telling everyone you meet that I'm watching this It's kind of embarrassing to admit considering my personality...

  Kateikyoshi Hitman Reborn -- One of those series I'm "supposed" to be watching this season...[won't say anything else about that]. You know the funny thing though? It's how I got into this series in the first place. I was directed to some hand-made parody clips on Youtube --long story short, the parody stuff amused me so much I started to look up what the source series (Reborn) was about...checked out some of it's eps...and was hooked! Otherwise I would have never gotten hooked on a series as long (and still ongoing) as this one...

  Kyou Kara Maou 3rd Season -- Another "supposed" to be watching series. I have nothing to say other than....it's comedic value feels like it's dropped since season 1 & 2...that and it feels like they're just throwing up stuff to fill up the plot.......I'd never hear the end of it from my friend (whom introduced me to KKM series) though if I dropped it completely.

  Saiunkoku Monogatari 2nd Season -- Another "supposed" to be watching series.....Let's just say.......I dunno how I ever survived season 1...but this series has gone from being a romantic/comedy/historical to something historical/fantasy.....in my opinion. I mean...fantasy/historical?! GEEZ! Stick with fact or fiction for gawds sake...please don't make this into a non-romantic, non-comedic Fushigi Yugi rip-off.....(Fushigi Yugi with no romance or comedy?? I cringe at that thought)

  Shugo Chara! Doki!! -- Another show that I look forward to every week =D (you thought I was going to say "supposed" again weren't ya? LOL). It's of the magical-girl genre...series originally meant for little kids it seems...not that it's stupidly kiddie like Pokemon or something (Although...once in a blue moon...it has some references that...well...only one with a dirty mind might catch AHA..er...UM <_<;; ) Only thing I'm annoyed about is that it seems to have alot of filler....but the manga is still ongoing so I guess it's expected....I'm also worried this series might become another endless series D=

  
  Soul Eater -- Hooray! I like this show! I stopped watching it for awhile but I tried to pick it up recently. Even if you're not interested in watching this show...I STILL BECKON YOU TO GO WATCH EPISODE 3!! (Well you might have to watch a tiny bit of the beginning of episode 1 so you don't get lost in the setting on the get go =x ) But Episode 3 introduces ONE OF THE GREATEST/FUNNIEST(or maybe Funnest?) CHARACTERS IN THE WHOLE SERIES! Oh man...it's priceless...I'm soo gonna force people living around me (aka friends & families) to watch ep 3 if I can <_< >_> <_< >_>

  Tales of the Abyss -- Unfortunately...this is part of the "supposed" to be watching group =( ....I kinda watching up to a "certain plot point" in the anime and (since I've played/beat the game) I figured I'd hold out watching the next few eps until they've accumulated enough so that I could...you know...watch the whole plot arc in one sitting rather than watching...waiting 1+ week....rinse and repeat.......And so now...I still haven't had a chance to pick it up again =x

  Vampire Knight Guilty -- I'm planning to try to pick it up again...after I catch up with some other stuff first...but the series kind of....lost me at the end of the first season. That and the fact that the heroine is starting to get on my nerves....like seriously attached to a certain character in the series that it's annoying.....and not like how Marta is attached to Emil (<---this was still cute and funny at least)....OH NO....it felt more annoying than that....so I had to take "a break" so to speak....

  That's all I'll blab about....there are actually two additional series that I'm "supposed" to be watching this season: Kuroshitsuji and Nijuu Menso no Musume

  --for these two I've been too busy to see if any new eps are out....frankly though the eps I've watched up to....in both cases...the plot has gotten kind of stale as of late and I'm in no immediate hurry to see more at this time.

• weeding

  was doing a little weeding of my friends list just now...mostly removed people who haven't logged on since September or something like that...mostly....

  ...it's just...I've been feeling like...BLAH all day and I felt like deleting something...

  Feeling so BLAH and BLEH that I can't even draw up something good for my "Yay! Over 1K page views" in Deviantart

  --heh...2 hours later and I've only draw the torso of some random leviathan, human, angel hybrid...thing [what the heck...]

  Aha...and I've been spamming this journal an awful lot lately it seems....

• A little worried

  I'm a liiiiiitttllle worried my comic might be declined cuz when I submitted it the submission page showed me a SUPER SQUISHED unreadable version that was only 70 x 470 when the original size is suppossed to be 200 x 1350

  ...it's probably totally my fault that I had the length of it go to 1350 but when I was making it I wanted it to go vertically the whole way cuz people in different countries read differently (left to right vs right to left) but EVERYONE KNOWS you have to read TOP to BOTTOM

  And although there might not be anyone on this site who is posting from Asian country/etc ...there are 1) people like me.....

  (I'm an American born-chinese....I'm used to reading from either direction...I, more or less, can automatically swap the direction I'm reading depending on whether I'm reading chinese stuff or american stuff...but fan comics are another thing thanks to the growing anime/manga industry)

  or 2) people who constantly read manga (who are probably accustomed to reading right to left because of all the manga they read....of course...that depends on the manga publisher that is...as a few of them still flip mangas back to left to right)

  So...yeah...I was determined to make it ALL going VERTICAL and it was WAY shorter than 1350 originally...but I kept needing more panels and stretched...and stretched it...and it became 1350 @_@ ....I didn't think that submitting it that size would force the system to shrink it to the point that it's unreadable...Nooooooooooo!!

  So...because I was so worried about my comic I had a little trouble falling asleep last night.

  (That and my plan to search the house for the N64 kept me up last night...LOL ah...but the N64 thing is another story =p )

  ....hope they come on soon to check so I can figure what I should do next about this.....
